1. Introduction
This Returns Policy governs the return of Frame Interval Timing (FIT) devices purchased from Benneman Ltd (www.benneman.co.uk). Due to the bespoke, made-to-order nature of our high-value professional equipment, returns are permitted only for repairs under our warranty. This policy complies with applicable UK laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where relevant.

2. No Returns for Non-Warranty Purposes
As FIT devices are custom-manufactured to order, we do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind, cancellation after order confirmation, or dissatisfaction. All orders are final upon confirmation, as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
3. Warranty Returns for Repair
Warranty Coverage: FIT devices carry a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover misuse, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.
Eligibility: Returns are accepted only for devices deemed faulty and requiring repair under the warranty. Calibration services are non-returnable and non-refunded.
Process:
Contact Us: Within the 2-year warranty period, email info@benneman.co.uk with your order number, proof of purchase, and a detailed description of the fault.
Approval: We will assess your claim and, if approved, issue return instructions along with a prepaid postage label, within 5 business days.
Ship the Device: Using our return label, post the device to the address provided. Ensure it is securely packaged and with all accessories present. Take photos of the contents and packaging and keep proof of postage to avoid liability for loss or damage during transit to us or our test laboratory.
Inspection and Repair: We will inspect the device within 5 business days of receipt. If the fault is covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the device at our discretion and cover shipping costs for the return shipment to you. If not covered, we will contact you to discuss options (e.g., paid repair or return at your cost).
Exclusions: We are not liable for decisions or outcomes based on device accuracy, despite self-verification and ISO17025-accredited calibration.
4. Shipping and Liability
Outbound Shipments: We cover carriage costs and liability for loss or damage for shipments we or our test laboratory dispatch to you.
Inbound Shipments: You bear all shipping costs and liability for loss or damage for any shipments to us or our test laboratory, including calibration submissions, unless it is for warranty purposes.
5. Cancellations
If you attempt to cancel an order or project after work has begun (e.g., device manufacture or calibration), you are responsible for paying for work completed to date, as per our Terms and Conditions.
